Welcome to the paintings of Barb Samuelson

 

Hello, and welcome to my website! I’ve always had deep admiration for painting seasonal landscapes from vast regions of this beautiful planet. I first began painting with ceramics and reverse glass painting, which eventually lead me to paint on canvas and various saw blades. I am a self-taught artist. I was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and now reside in Eagle River, Wisconsin. I began painting 17 years ago. Bob Ross & Terry Redlin are two of my biggest inspirations that drives that inner passion to paint the differential sceneries that I paint. Living in the northwoods of Wisconsin has many advantages. Having 4 seasons per year, allows me to paint something different, and never get tied down to one season. Autumn and winter scenes are my very favorite to paint due to the vast color changes, but I enjoy painting all four seasons as well. As an artist, I never stop growing and learning to expand my knowledge of painting. Thank you for visiting!!!
