I have always had an interest in art since early childhood. Whether it was sketching on a piece of paper or taking a lump of clay and forging it into some of my favorite characters.

After graduating high school in northern Wisconsin, I pursued my professional career as an artist. I attended the Ringling School of Art & Design in Sarasota, FL where I received my B.F.A. While majoring in Illustration, I realized that my true passion has always been sculpting. Using the two mediums, I developed my own sense of style. Movies, science fiction, animation, daily experiences, and my vivid imagination are essential tools that I rely on for inspiration.

I believe that gesture is the most important element in sculpting. Finding the right pose allows the figure to demonstrate the dynamic movement and rhythm that brings each piece to life. Sculpting allows me to create pieces that may trigger an emotion or feeling that captures the very essence or mood of the viewer.

I have established my sculpting studio in Eagle River, WI where I continue creating various new art. Thank you for visiting!
