About the Artist
Welcome to the Brad Samuelson Studio. Never limiting himself to just one category of sculpture, Brad is an artist who gets his inspiration from many forms of life. Whether it be: nature, animals, people, humor, or fantasy, his emphasis on detail is there. Each sculpture is unique in character by the use of gesture and expression that is captured to emphasize the dramatic action and pose of the piece. “It is crucial to have each piece suggest a narrative or display expressive movement to demonstrate how each character reacts to certain situations in everyday life”, he explains. Brad has received 2 awards in the past from his college while studying to be a sculptor: the "Best of Ringling Materials Award", and publication in the “Society of Illustrators” student competition magazine. Brad has been commissioned to perform works for private and public collectors which include: three Labrador retrievers for Jeff Bonack Enterprises, a life-size monument honoring local lengendary musician & comendian Henry "Skip" Wagner, and just recently completed a commissioned golden retriever bust for Team Husar Widlife Photography of West Bend, WI.
